Deepthroating

The following is an excerpt from the book I'm writing on blowjob technique. The most common question I get asked by people is how they can improve their deepthroating skills, so I've decided to share this part of my book to help people who are struggling with that. It's important to note that deepthroating, while impressive, is only a small part of a great blowjob. A lot of people focus on this as though it's the main way to improve, but there is so much more to this than just going deep. Remember that the most sensitive and pleasurable part of the cock is the head, and you don't need to deepthroat to please that part! Good tongue technique and rhythmic sucking is always more important, and in my opinion those should be the things you should be focusing most of your energy on. Deepthroating is impressive and showy, but it doesn't make you great all by itself, and you really should combine it with other skills if you're serious about your own improvement. However, deepthroating will probably be the thing you spend the longest time on improving, because improvement on this is a slow process unless you have a natural gift, so it's never too early to start trying!

The first and most useful thing to learn for practice, especially if you have very little experience, is the thumb squeeze trick. This is a trick that dentists use to suppress the gag reflexes of their patients, and although it’s a little strange, it really works. Try this now: using your left hand, move your thumb into your palm, then close your fingers over your thumb, and squeeze. This tricks your brain into suppressing your gag reflex. You can experiment right now by doing this, and while squeezing, move the index finger of your other hand down into your throat, and you will find you have much less of an urge to gag. Using this trick, you can practice your deep-throat skills with a dildo in your free time, or on a real cock. You don’t want to do this forever though. It’s a beginner’s trick, something you should use to get started and not as a crutch. It’s “cheating”, men know it’s cheating, and it also means you only have one hand free. Deepthroating from skill alone is what you should be working towards, and once you’ve trained your gag reflex, deepthroating will feel a lot easier and much more effortless than it does with the thumb squeeze. This trick helps a little, not a lot. Please remember not to squeeze too hard on your thumb during an intense deepthroat session, because it’s easy to forget how hard you squeeze when you’re lost in the moment and it can cause your thumb to bruise.

Some people have a stronger gag reflex than others, and for some, the thumb squeeze trick doesn’t help much at first, if at all. Everyone is different and more dedication will be required for some than for others. If the thumb squeeze trick isn't enough to get you started, you can start to suppress your gag reflex naturally every morning and night when you brush your teeth. Use your toothbrush to brush your tongue, and slowly brush further back until you start feeling the instinct to gag. When you find this spot, softly brush this area for a little while (you will gag when doing this, but that's okay). Repeat the process daily until this spot is less sensitive and your gag reflex has stopped, then move a little further back on your tongue until you start gagging again, and start all over. It might take a while, but be patient. Do this until you only gag right at the back of your tongue, and then you can start using the thumb squeeze trick and doing some real practice. I guarantee that eventually you will get there, but it does take a while for some people to get through that first barrier.

If there’s no particular cock you’re training for, then I very much recommend a dildo for practice. It’s very important that you buy a soft silicone one, and it needs to have a base at the bottom to prevent it from becoming lodged in your throat. For obvious reasons, the dildos that are modeled to have the shape of a real cock are the best for this exercise. If you’re a total beginner, I advise starting with a toy that’s around 6 inches in length, and of normal girth. Once you’ve mastered this you can later move on to an 8 inch one that’s thicker. I don’t recommend practicing with anything larger, firstly because you are very unlikely to run into a real cock that’s larger, and secondly because once you can effortlessly deep-throat an 8 inch girthy dildo there is nothing in the real world you won’t be able to handle, even if you do run into one that’s longer.

When using a dildo to train, you will need to take it slowly down your throat until you begin to gag. Don’t go too far. When you start to gag slightly, hold the dildo in place, try to suppress the reflex until you can’t take it anymore, pull it back out, and try again. Keep doing this until it gets easier, but keep in mind that you may not see an improvement in a single session. It takes time. When you’ve stopped gagging at that particular point, take the dildo further back until you gag again, and repeat the process. After a while, which could be weeks or months, you will find that you hardly feel the reflex anymore. Yes, it is possible to get rid of the gag completely, and that just comes from more and more practice. Remember that this starts really difficult but gets easier and easier. At first, you might feel like you want to throw up constantly when you’re practicing, and you might even do so once or twice if you accidentally go too far when you’re not ready for it. But this is all temporary, and just think of how proud you’ll be of yourself once you’ve perfected it, which you will, if you keep trying.

Another important part of training your gag reflex is relaxation. You have to stop tensing up and let the cock (or dildo) slide in and out without you putting pressure on it. Remember that your impulse to stop and pull it back out and your natural response to gag is all in your mind, and can be fully controlled. If you are training with a dildo, try to play some relaxing music in the background and let it drift over you as you slowly deep-throat in and out. It might sound a little silly, but letting your body and mind relax is essential for this, so it could really help you. Just let the throating happen and try not to fight it, think happy thoughts, and remember that all you need is to make your throat do… nothing. Nothing, instead of fighting back.

Your gag reflex will relax as you do. You will find that the point at which the reflex begins gets further and further back as you gain more confidence and as it becomes trained through your experience, and your throat will stretch easier and more comfortably as you get used to the pressure. Remember to focus on breathing through your nose during deepthroating and try to maintain a rhythm with your breaths, because you can focus on this which helps you to not get overwhelmed. Once you’ve started getting quite good, one thing you can start doing with a dildo, or a real cock, is to hold it in your throat for an extended time. Hold it there, relax, and practice your breaths. This is very good for expanding your throat and getting it used to cock. It’s even better if you can start to fit some impressive girth in your throat and hold that there too.

Although many people think otherwise, the length of a cock is not the real challenge with deepthroating, the real challenge is girth. Length stops being an issue after a certain amount of experience, and girth becomes your next struggle. Your gag reflex will be your first hurdle, but everyone is physically limited by the size of their throat, as there’s only so far it can stretch. Length is not an issue to any experienced deepthroater, because for this you only have to train a spontaneous reaction, and once you’ve done that your throat will be able to handle any length without a problem. But you are squeezing the girth down a narrow tube, and there are physical limitations. Your throat is very stretchy though, and although it might sound very painful or uncomfortable to fully deepthroat a girthy cock, it’s very possible for most people with minimal discomfort if you have enough experience. There may be exceptions for you, and you might be unfortunate and find it truly impossible to deepthroat a certain size. It does depend on your body and what it can handle, but one thing I can say for sure is that the vast majority of men are not girthy enough for this to be an issue for someone with good experience. Keep stretching that throat and don’t give up. You’ll just need to keep pushing yourself.

If you’ve followed the guide closely so far and had at least a month of good practice, you should be seeing some very noticeable improvements in your deepthroating ability, and should be starting to impress the man, or men, in your life. Keep practicing what I’ve taught you, because it will take longer to perfect all of this, but now you’re beginning to master the length and girth issues inherent to deepthroating, the hardest part is over, so you can start to learn some important techniques that you can use while deepthroating.

First of all, what are you doing with your tongue? The natural thing to do of course is to slide your tongue under his shaft as you go deeper. There’s nothing at all wrong with this, that feels great for him and it’s what I often do as well. Remember that the underside is the most sensitive part of the shaft, so the natural way your tongue slides back and forth while you deep-throat is already perfect. But it’s always good to mix things up a little. The easiest thing to do if you’re already deep-throating a man all the way down, is to lick his balls. As you go deeper and slide your tongue under his shaft, press your nose into his body at the base of his cock and give his balls a long lick down the middle (or down underneath them if your tongue is long enough). You could also stop at the base for a moment and spend a longer time with his balls, touch and lick them, bring them closer to your mouth while he’s deep in your throat. Showing attention to the balls is always important. Also focus on rhythmic movements, and think of it like a little dance you're doing with your mouth. Try a tongue swirl around the length of his shaft as you bob in and out (you’ll need to twirl your whole head as you do this), and that will feel great for him.

If you’re skilled enough now to start being a little more assertive with your throating, you can start thrusting your head back and forth with more force. Practice that in short bursts to start with. In general, if you’re spending a long time deep-throating, it’s important that you learn to slow down at least a little bit and don’t try and do everything at once, because you will very quickly get neck pains or cramps that will greatly impair your technique, unless you manage these methods with care. Remember to watch your teeth when you’re getting more forceful. It’s very easy to scratch and scrape until you get the hang of keeping your teeth away, it’s even possible that you could bite down instinctively if he thrusts and it surprises you, and that could be a disaster, so take great care with your teeth during deep-throating and make a mental note of what you’re doing with them at all times until it feels like second nature.

If you’ve followed my instructions carefully and practiced enough, then at this point you will have mastered deep-throating. If you’ve learned deep-throating for general use and not only for one specific cock, you’ll find that every cock you take in your mouth can slide down your throat effortlessly.
